Hey There! I'm Rachel. I'm an artist, educator, and curator. I have a Ph.D. in Gender Studies and an M.F.A. in Fine Art.

My artwork focuses on themes of femininity, gender, and sexuality. I enjoy using traditional women's materials such as fibers and techniques such as embroidery and sewing.

My scholarly research explores how LGBT+ artists use materials and processes to discuss personal identity.

​

When I am not making art or writing, I am hanging out with my two rescue chihuahuas.
