LOUD WHITE SPACE SERIES

The "Loud White Space" series is a collection of mixed-media drawings which explore using negative space to surround isolated figures or structures. The drawings are acrylic paint on a page from a magazine. The paint has been carefully placed to emphasis one part of a larger image. Graphite and Acrylic are then layered or drawn on to imply a larger space for the figures and objects to interact with. In some of the work, I explore combining more geometric drawings to the pieces of photograph. This series was recreated from 2011-2016.
